Get back

Monday feels like the first day of school. My bag was empty. Not even a piece of foolscap paper. I guess that is the feeling you get after exams are over. Not a bad day i guess. Got back my Supply Chain Management and Human Resource Management results. I’m thankful i passed.

Went to the movies! Watched “The Strangers” yesterday and watched “Wanted” today. “Hancock” shall be in 2 days time. Shall thank UOB for the generous $6 per ticket on weekdays and $8 per ticket on weekends.

What drives me ecstatic

FINALLY! Exams are over. I feel like doing a chicken dance and play with the hula hoop.

Woke up really late today! Had a good night sleep. Slept at 1 in the morning yesterday and woke up close to 5 in the afternoon today. Gosh, i slept for more than 12 hours!! I really need that sleep. It has been a tiring week for me. After all those late nights, i deserve to even have 24 hours worth of sleep!

Anyway, my pay was deposited today. I’m feeling really ecstatic. Wanted to watch movie but every show was either selling fast or sold out! Eventually, walked around AMK Hub. Mitju was having sale. 1 pair of shoes for $9.90 and 2 pairs for $15.00! Ah, i shopped again! I bought 2 pairs of heels. One bronze and one black. I love the heels. Its pretty!!

I’m feeling damn exhausted. I cant believe they squeezed 5 papers within a week. It is so torturing! I’ve not been having enough sleep and i feel like a zombie. 2 hours of sleep per day is really depreciating my energy.

In the evening, received a call from my sister. My grandmother was admitted to the hospital due to high blood pressure. Made me really worried. Visited her at night.

I pray for my grandmother to get well soon.

While on the way home, my sister messaged me this:

“nina, my turtle at home”

and this is the turtle she was talking about in the message:

HAHA!

Ok, i’m going to sleep now. Got to wake up at 3am to study! :(

Out of town

It is already Saturday! 2 more days to the end of my holidays. and on Monday i will give big smile and a big Hello! to my exams.

I’m supposed to be studying. Instead, i went to Johore Bahru to shop. My mum gave vouchers worth 180 RM. Seriously, who can resist given free 180 RM to shop?

Met Terence in the morning. There was a long queue at the customs. Went into Malaysia at around noon. Took a cab down to Holiday Plaza. Shopped at the departmental store – Parkson. Wanted to get some clothes, but there wasn’t anything i like in particular. So, eventually, i bought 2 sets of polka dots bra at 39.90 RM each! I love the sets. Its pretty! :)

Went on to the Household department. I got a small pink mat for 6.90 RM and a curtain for 19.95 RM. Love it! Terence and i got the same curtain. Anyway, i almost bought a rice cooker for my mum. haha.

As for lunch, we went to Pizza Hut.

Terence came home at around 7 in the morning today and i woke him up at 9 to ask him to get ready. Thanks darling for accompanying me throughout the whole afternoon.

21st

Met my girlfriends (Amelin, Syafiah and Jacqueline) today. Celebrated Syaf’s 21st Birthday. It was funny because Amelin and Jacqueline secretly went to buy an ice-cream cake as a surprise and even got a heart shaped “Happy Birthday” Balloon for Syaf. The ice cream cake came in a box with dry ice. We got really curious seeing the smoke coming from the dry ice that we started playing with it. We touched the dry ice, tried to carry it, hit it with a plastic spoon and put it into a plastic bag.  We sat at Mac and chatted the whole night away. It was so funny and there was so much fun and laughter.

Anyway, went to the movies yesterday and the day before! Watched The Incredible Hulk and The Happening. Aiyo, The happening is a gore show. It wasn’t as good as i had expected it to be. If you love seeing people jumping off buildings or killing themselves, go get yourself a seat in the theaters.

Met Terence for dinner today. Went to town. We are one year and a day old together now! :)

Vacation

Back from Genting! It was so fun! I smuggled myself into the casino. Gosh, i told myself that I’ve got to get my ass back to Genting. I want to go to the casino again. I love playing Tai Sai. For the last few rounds i played, i’ve got all of my guesses correct. Lady luck! I won more than half of the amount that i’ve initially put in.

Went to KL on the second day. Met Kim. She brought us to her father’s restaurant! Only stayed with her for awhile. Then took a bus back from KL to Genting. It was so rushy!

Sadly, I didn’t have time to shop! Most of the time, i was eating wholeheartedly! I’m pretty sure i had gained a lot of weight from the trip. I eat like 4 times a day! I’ve got to blame the cold weather for making me really hungry all the time! We spent the last night at the movies watching Kungfu Panda. We had a good laught for only RM12 plus free tidbits. My sister wanted some Marrybrown chicken, so i brought back 4 pieces of the chicken home – all the way from Genting through the 8 hours bus ride! haha. Gosh, and now I’m missing the time spent there.

Rid the itch

I’m so tired. Cant believe i am working! I’m suppose to be at home packing my luggage now and not working my ass off.

Mum gave me money for the Genting trip. I’ve got itchy hands. Walked around during my break time and started shopping! Went to Cotton On! I kept telling myself that i’m going to save money so that i can spend more at Genting. But the Great Singapore Sale itself is decreasing the amount of money i had saved!

Anyway, i told myself that i’ve got to stop going to Cotton On. Been buying clothes from Cotton On almost every week. While i was working, spotted so many customers holding big Cotton On plastic bags. Gosh, i wondered: “Since so many people shopped at Cotton On, i bet i’m going to see a bunch of people dressing the same on the streets.” So, ban me from Cotton On at the moment. I’ve seen so many people wearing Cotton On clothes. I beg to be different.

There weren’t much customers today. So, i took a piece of paper and started calculating numbers for 4d. I wish i had better things to do than just stand there!

Anyway, met Jacqueline after work. Sat with her under her block. She just came back from KL. So great to see her! We sat, chatted and eat biscuits.

I’m missing my girlfriends! :)

There behind you

Collected my long awaited passport. It was a Tuesday! So went to Gelare for the half priced Waffle and ice cream. Went on to Cotton on after that. Bought a red cardigan. Maybe i can keep it and use it for National Day celebration or something. haha.

After much walking around, we decided to catch a movie – Sex and the city. Initially, i wasn’t interested. But after watching it, i fell in love with it! Seriously, it is a good girlfriend movie. It simply showed how girlfriends always stick together through thick and thin especially during sad times. While watching the show, i kept thinking of Amelin and Syaf! We’re friends for like more than 5 years now. Till now, we still meet up often for shopping and talks! It has always been great sharing with one another on how we felt about certain things or problems. We always share a good laugh whenever we’re out together. I miss my girls.

After watching sex & the city, i came up with this line. “When a guy gives you shit and dump you, your close girlfriends will always be there behind you, picking up that shit and throwing it back at that idiotic guy.”

Well, i hope it is well said.

Anyway, i dyed my hair brown. I’m much happier with the colour now. and i’m never going to dye my hair dark – ever again! :)

Top of the list

The weekends were great! :) Went to catch a movie with Terence and my sister – The chronicles of Narnia. Nice show! I love it! My sister love it. But Terence hate it. He fell asleep while watching it. Anyway, i hate watching shows at Shaw. It sucks. The whole place is so fuc*ing dark and i cant find my seat. I had to shine the light from my phone to find my row of seats. I wish they could have installed better lights along the seats for convenience. Or next time, i shall bring a damn bright torchlight. In addition, i hate those inconsiderate fu*kers who dont have any initiative to put their phone to silent mode. It sucks hearing some ringtone playing in the middle of the movie. Moreover, the theatre is so big and there were so many people talking loudly in the theatre. Fuc*ed up environment. Some people had to even do “Shhhh” so that those loud mouths can shut up. For now, Cathay is still the best for me. They are at the top of my list.
