What makes us girls

I skipped school to attend a job interview yesterday and training today. I’ve sent in my schedule but i dont know when i’ll start. I’m a bit worried actually. I dont know if i’m up for it.

Anyway, training with the other girls was fun! We were taught about the products, its benefits and uses. After hearing all the good things about the product, I’m totally sold. I’m going to get the products for myself!!! The last time i worked as a lingerie promoter, i ended up buying all kinds of lingerie. The amount of panties i have is sufficient for a month supply. Till now, i still can’t kick the habit of lingerie buying. I’m addicted to it. Oh please, i hope make up is not my next addiction.

The table had eyeshadow palettes with more than 100 colours. I can spend the whole day trying out every single colour. haha.

I was still so full from dinner till all those jumping made me puke.

I skipped school to complete the nearly due reports. While i am supposed to diligently work on it, i end up at Bugis Street shopping with my partners in crime.

If you’re wondering why i’m wearing those geeky glasses.. it’s because i have a big pimple somewhere in between my left eye and cheeks. It is so huge that it made my eye and the entire area swollen! I burst it and puss with blood oozed out. Sounds disgusting right? So, i wasn’t making a fashion statement actually. I was covering a huge zit with it. ha ha.

Thankfully, Thursday is the last working day of the week. Met Terence for dinner after work. After our dinner, met Chen Sin and another friend. Had supper at Chomp Chomp and guess who is saw? BERNICE! haha. I was buying dessert when i saw a familiar face. I told myself, “Hey, that girl looks like Bernice.” And yes, there she was giving me a horror look too. What a surprise.

When she saw me, she asked: “Hey. Why your face red colour?” “Are you drunk?” haha. What a question. Bernice, it is the effect of the blusher lah!

We even had the time to capture a moment of coincidence. Took this in front of a drink stall selling sugarcane.

Yesterday, i participated in another radio contest. Won a hamper worth $300 of facial products. I think i’m on a lucky streak. If thats the case, i shall buy 4D during  the weekends.

Bernice won a CD from another radio station. The DJ asked her, how did you know the answer to the trivia and Bernice said, “Because i am smart.” haha. You’re really smart Bernice for not blurting out the wrong radio station on air! haha. Imagine what might have happened if you said 98.7fm instead of 98.00fm?!

Like finally! EXAMS ARE OVER. To celebrate liberty, we headed to Zouk. The All-American Rejects were performing at Zouk carpark and we got in for free. The dress that i’m wearing – i sewed it myself! I cut, joined different pieces of cloth together and was glad that the lace goes really well with it.

Kim was also jumping as we sang along to the songs. Can yo u believe it? KIM WAS JUMPING TO ROCK! After jumping with heels on, waving our hands and screaming hysterically with excitement, we had sweat all over our faces.

That’s Tyson Ritter.  I can just melt just staring at him. Ooh, the way he flips his hair..was really sexy!

It was plenty of fun. We shall party hard again! SOON :)

Eensy Weensy Spider

Sunday afternoon, rain was falling. Met Bernice in the evening to execute our great great plan to study as much as we can.  We were so motivated  to do everything else, except for reading our notes. I even  made Bernice cry by telling her the story of Benjamin Button. Told you the story was heartfelt.

Bugged by laziness, we went shopping after that. We’re totally  hopeless.

Piling Badonkies

Went out with the girls to do revision for Financial Management paper. We chewed pearls from our bubble tea and piled badonkies on ourselves with chocolate sundae. Being close to nature, we decided to soak up the sun when it was about to set. Played on the swings, showed off our badonkies and sang to Britney Spear’s “Oops I Did It Again”.

There was ample fun.

Gimme Gimme Peanuts

Its been a hell of a week. Project submission and presentations are finally over. Spending time typing out reports and staying up late doing research is so history. Today i’m going to stay up late watching TV instead. Oh yeah, yesterday went over to Bernice’s house for CNY. Played blackjack and i won cents. We’re being such a cheapo because we were only willing to bet 10 cents per game. Eventually, i won $1.60! haha. Rachel had enough of betting a dollar that she turned to betting peanuts instead. She won lots of peanuts for each peanut. haha.

I had lots of fun girls! :)

Hell of a week

6 bottles of high hopes

I skipped school again. I didn’t set the alarm and i overslept. Was at home the whole day cleaning the house like a part-time maid. In the evening, Kim and Bernice came over to my place to dye hair. We were being a cheapo when we bought 4 bottles of dye for $7.40 each. Turned out, the quality of the so-called-cheapo dye was crap – Not effective and energy wasting. We then rushed to the nearest store to get 2 more bottles of “trust able” dyes and in total, we ended up with 6 bottles of hair dye.

Our hair colour looked like typical ah lian. Damn funny. We kept laughing at each other. Luckily, i found some black dye at home. Its almost 3:00 AM now and i am still trying to somehow “fix” the hair colour. Kim dyed her hair reddish purple. Both of us hope it will turn out right because we still have school later!!

15 minutes past 3 in the morning and i am home. I must say i had a long day!

The day started with shopping. Currently, i have an obsession with green. I’ve always hated green for some reason. To me, it is the dullest and most boring colour ever! So, since when did i fancy green?

Lets talk about what i did today.

1) Met Terence in the afternoon. He needed a hair cut so badly. So, we went to the salon at Far East Plaza.

2) Dinner was at Pizza Hut with Yan and Syaf. We had large hawaiian pizza, hut’s platter and spicy drumlets.

3) We went to the arcade. Challenged Daytona and Bishi Bashi with each other. We bashed the buttons of the machine with our palms till our palms turned red.

4) Went for a movie – “Mirrors”. The ending to that movie left me bewildered. Nur Amalina, this movie is definitely not for you. DONT watch it. I bet, you wont dare to look at yourself in the mirror after watching it.

Ok, after the movie, we were feeling hungry. Went to McDonald’s for supper. I ate with self recrimination and guilt of getting any fatter. After much talking, it was almost 3 in the morning.

Took a cab home feeling jaded. I need to sleep now.

Bar hopping

It’s Friday night. Had planned to go MOS with my dearest classmates. All of us were excited to go. :) haha. But it turned out dreadful. When we reached the place, the queue was so damn long. The whole long stretch were made up of SP students. Even saw some people carrying their school bags and laptops along! For goodness sake! Must be those people who had come by after school. We were all like sweating and feeling warm from queuing up. Then, it was ‘full house’. So the rest of us in the remaining queue were denied entry.

Not wanting to waste anymore time, we girls left the place and fled away to AZZUCAR! latin soul party. haha. Nice place! Very funny. They have live latin performance. After their performance, the latin dancers went around shaking hands with us – introducing one another. All of us had mocktails. :)

Left Azzucar and went off to Kandi Bar. The place is so pretty. They had Zebra skin walls and soft toys. Jugs were 1-for-1, so ordered Vodka cranberry and vodka redbull. Very funny lah. Kim, maggie and Natalie finished up those two jugs together. and Bernice was timing how fast they could finish up the whole jug. Then Maggie got high and kept babbling about chicken eggs. So funny! I had pussyfoot. Some yogurt juice. I was burping yogurt after that. haha.

Left Kandi Bar because we were feeling hungry. Walked to Lau Pa Sat to have supper. I had kaya and butter toast. :)

Went home after that. Feeling really tired! But i had a great day with the girls. :)

and i’m working on Sunday. I better wake up early later and finish up my tutorials!

Fast fries grabber

Went to school today! Met Bernice and Kim to study statistics. Before we start studying, we got to fill our empty stomachs first! Went to foodcourt 6 for  fries. haha! I didnt want any! Girls, it carbo and deep fried!! :) Look at bernice’s hand grabbing the fries. haha. It was funny lah..

I’m going to miss going for lecture with them since i’m taking a different option from them next year! Well, before going home, we cheekily sneaked into the empty lecture theater.

We look so tiny in the pictures. haha. Ok, rest assured this photo proves that when we sleep, the lecturer cant see us because we look so tiny up there.

After dinner, i met mumu. Had dinner with him before meeting maggie at McDonalds to teach her statistics. It was a tiring day and i’m so tired!
