Hello, anyone there?

After overnight, met Terence for lunch at Junction 8, Bishan.

Whats for lunch? PIZZA! We had personal pan pizza each and an ice-cream for dessert. I had to do shopping because i was worried that i wouldn’t have enough clothes for attachment. I couldn’t find anything i liked, so i bought nothing. Went back home for a few hours of rest and a quick nap.

As soon as night falls, met Terence for a movie. Watched My Bloody Valentine. Omg, it was gore. If you love seeing intestines and hearts being ripped out from the body, eyeballs coming out from the eye socket and head being chopped off from the body, you should watch it. I felt awfully disgusted that i couldn’t bear to watch some parts of the show. Instead of bloody valentine, it was like bloody hell.

Like finally! EXAMS ARE OVER. To celebrate liberty, we headed to Zouk. The All-American Rejects were performing at Zouk carpark and we got in for free. The dress that i’m wearing – i sewed it myself! I cut, joined different pieces of cloth together and was glad that the lace goes really well with it.

Kim was also jumping as we sang along to the songs. Can yo u believe it? KIM WAS JUMPING TO ROCK! After jumping with heels on, waving our hands and screaming hysterically with excitement, we had sweat all over our faces.

That’s Tyson Ritter.  I can just melt just staring at him. Ooh, the way he flips his hair..was really sexy!

It was plenty of fun. We shall party hard again! SOON :)

I know i’m supposed to be studying now. BUT, I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT HIM!! I cant wait too see him on Friday. I want to wave my hand hysterically at him and jump around with joy.

Yes, yes, yes! Say YES to The All-American Rejects because they’re coming down on Friday! Tey’re performing LIVE. Omg, I’m going to drop dead from excitement when i see them.

OH NO! ARGH! I’m feeling too excited for Friday to really concentrate on studying. I’ll probably chuck my book aside and listen to their songs while thinking about them.

TEP paper was brain squeezing. I didn’t study much so i was depending on my common sense to answer all the questions. I hope all those common sense had provided superb answers which would simply WOW the marker. Percentage of that happening? Fat chance. I didn’t even know how to label the map. Where is Chennai located? Where is Kao Shiong located? I dont know. I dont read maps as a hobby.

Before the paper, I wanted to start studying in the morning. Instead of doing so, i ended up at facebook playing Pet Society.

Know whats the fun part? I seem to enjoy bringing my virtual pet for shopping and dress her up with shoes, dress, a watch or bangles. The house was furnished by me. I shop for the furniture, clothes, wall paper and food for her. So, now you know why i spend hours playing this game.

I should probably GET A LIFE. haha.

Eensy Weensy Spider

Sunday afternoon, rain was falling. Met Bernice in the evening to execute our great great plan to study as much as we can.  We were so motivated  to do everything else, except for reading our notes. I even  made Bernice cry by telling her the story of Benjamin Button. Told you the story was heartfelt.

Bugged by laziness, we went shopping after that. We’re totally  hopeless.

Check on it

After the long hiatus, i’m smiling right now because i just got a new SONY clock radio for my room! I can sleep with the radio on every night while wasting electricity, set alarm with no excuse from waking up late and the digital clock feature will constantly remind me of the time. I even set the time 5 minutes faster, but it is of no use because i will purposely be 5 minutes slower.  I bought the white one and i’m so in love with it that i cant stop staring at it!

Exam week now. Probably, that’s the reason why i’ve been away and so busy burying my nose under my notes.

Anyway, Terence booked out in the afternoon yesterday. Had dinner and spent the night bumming the cushions of Cathay Cineplex watching “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”

Seriously, the show was heartfelt with some humour. It was a story of an extraordinary love at first sight which lasted till the last breath. Brad Pitt was hot with those oversized shades. But still, i don’t like him that much anymore because he cheated on Jennifer Aniston. Minus all those scandal, I give the show 4.5/5 popcorns.

I got to start studying for Monday’s paper. After Monday, 2 more to go. Liberty for 2 days before i say HELLO ITP!

Love Remains the Same (Excerpt)

This is an excerpt from my Valentine’s Day post. The full post is password protected. If I’ve told you the password or if you happen to know the password, enter it and you may read it.

When i asked where are we going to for dinner, he kept saying, “You will know later.” Omg, he had actually planned to bring me somewhere for dinner. Met him at AMK interchange and I was late. When i reached, he suddenly asked me to run. Its like an amazing race because we were trying to catch a bus that was about to leave. We manage to board the bus and it all happened too fast that i wasn’t really sure what bus we were taking.

Me: Is this 24?

Terence: Huh? What bus is this?

Me: We taking 24 is it? Where are we going?

Terence: Oh really? We taking 24? Where does 24 go to?

Me: Huh? You ask me to run for the bus then you don’t know where we are going to? 24 goes to the Airport right? We are going there?

Terence: You just wait and see.

He was so cheeky. Still pretend to not know where the bus are taking us to. Guess where the bus service ended at? At Changi Airport! He brought me to the new T3 as I’ve never been there ever since it was built. Guess where we had our dinner at? POPEYE! It was my first time tasting POPEYE too! I love the fries.

Truly, it was a memorable dinner. There’s always a first time to everything. Thanks for bringing me to a place where I’ve never been to before. I enjoyed walking around and taking the sky train with you. For some, it may not be an ideal place to celebrate Valentines Day. To me, its been a wonderful and memorable experience because you’re the first person i went with on my first visit to T3 and Popeye. At least, in years to come, if i ever set foot at T3, i will always remember that you are the first person to have brought me to the place. Thanks darling for the 2 days full of love.

Piling Badonkies

Went out with the girls to do revision for Financial Management paper. We chewed pearls from our bubble tea and piled badonkies on ourselves with chocolate sundae. Being close to nature, we decided to soak up the sun when it was about to set. Played on the swings, showed off our badonkies and sang to Britney Spear’s “Oops I Did It Again”.

There was ample fun.

I’m attached

I’m attached! To an accounting firm.

Just checked my ITP placement result. I’ll be doing my attachment at parkinsons. The office is located near to Shenton Way. Ooh, thats where HOT guys in business suits can be found? Walking around CBD area with office wear and heels: Bernice, dont get jealous ar.

7 weeks of attachment will start on 2nd March 2009. Oh phooey, that’s less than a month time.

I’m joking – the part where i said hot guys can be found. The love of my life is hot enough for me.

I saw it! I saw it!

I passed my freaking BTT. I was so nervous that i can hear my heartbeat while doing the test. When i touched the screen to submit the answers, i saw it! I saw it! I saw it! It said, “PASSED”.

I’ve booked my FTT next month. Bernice and i booked the same date. We’re so gonna start our car practical lessons soon. Prolly after our ITP.

Slot those coins

Met Terence in the afternoon for a movie. Watched “Bride Wars”. I totally love that movie! A must-watch for the girls!

After our movie, went for supper with his army section mates at Bukit Batok. Some brought along their girlfriends. Terence and i were still feeling full from our dinner. So, we decided to share a plate of nasi goreng. I purposely let him finish off more than half of the nasi goreng because i want him to gain more weight. He lost a total of 9kg. I’m not used to seeing him skinny.

After everyone had their meal, went to play pool. Terence and i sucked at pool so we played photohunt instead at one of those coin slot machines. Talked to one of his friend’s girlfriend who graduated from SP about 2 years ago. We talked about school, the newly renovated food courts and elective modules.

I must say, they are all very nice people. Left the place at around 1 plus. Took the cab back and reached home at almost 2 in the morning.

Time check: 2:30 AM

I just got home and i’m smiling.

Met Terence in the afternoon. Bought tickets to Bride Wars. Omg, i love the show. I really admire Kate Hudson’s role in the movie. I love her profession, her bangs and the amount of money she has. I guess, if you want to be pretty and successful, you’ve got to have the brains too. She has everything – and i admire her for that. Anyway, watching them plan their wedding was so much fun. I had a really good laugh. I rate the show 4.5/5 popcorns!

I’m feeling pretty excited. We’re celebrating 20 months on Tuesday and our 2nd Valentines day on Saturday. Its going to be a week full of love :)

Miss Nina, I cant find my water bottle

Went to a primary school for relief teaching duty. Last year, i took a few classes. Today, i was assigned to the same group of students again! I’m glad they remembered me. We watched Mr. Bean in class, shared ghost stories and did some reading on the Social Studies textbook.

I read this from their Primary 4 Social Studies textbook:

“Sang Utama was the first ruler of Singapura. He built his palace on a hill which was then known as Bukit larangan or Forbidden Hill. The rulers of Singapore after Sang Utama continued to live on the hill. The communers were not allowed to go up the hill. The rulers were buried in Bukit Larangan when they died. According to legend, the Malays would not go up the hill as the hill was a burial ground for rulers.”

I went on the net and searched about Bukit Larangan. Guess what i found out? Bukit Larangan is actually Fort Canning Hill. I didnt even know! Sang Nila Utama ruled Singapura for 48 years and was buried on Bukit Larangan (present day Fort Canning Hill). And Malays weren’t supposed to go up the hill because it is a burial ground for rulers. How true is that? I dont know but I’m such a sucker for History. I find them so interesting!

Took a Primary 1 class too! They are so adorable, can? I guess i love being around with kids. “Miss Nina, i cant find my water bottle” haha :)

Gimme Gimme Peanuts

Its been a hell of a week. Project submission and presentations are finally over. Spending time typing out reports and staying up late doing research is so history. Today i’m going to stay up late watching TV instead. Oh yeah, yesterday went over to Bernice’s house for CNY. Played blackjack and i won cents. We’re being such a cheapo because we were only willing to bet 10 cents per game. Eventually, i won $1.60! haha. Rachel had enough of betting a dollar that she turned to betting peanuts instead. She won lots of peanuts for each peanut. haha.

I had lots of fun girls! :)
